Staff was excellent!!! Our server, Peter, was fantastic. Our server seemed like he was having an off evening and was pretty short and terse with us at the beginning, eventually by the middle of our meal he was nicer but it started the evening on a rough and sort of tense note.

Service was great. The spicy rolls were to die for, very hot! I had the KFC chicken with spicy ramen from the happy hour menu and a spicy tuna roll with Jameson on the rocks.

The server was knowledgable and brought our meal out promptly. Thank you! Food and drinks were great and reasonably priced.

We ate here on Friday for our Anniversary and they were so kind to seat us in the back. salmon, tuna, hamachi, tamago, mackerel, surf clam. When she reached over to get my water glass I nearly died. Fabulous! The wild sockeye salmon sashimi was fantastic. The staff is appropriately attentive and very knowledgeable of every aspect of their revised menu - including food/beverage pairings.

Matsu is a little more on the spendy side, so be prepared for that, but considering that, the apps and rolls we at were delicious.
