But indeed the characters are very interesting, especially Ransome. And they’re being watched. Maybe they can keep Ransome or Delores, but Rey and Reyes I don't care about at all. But if the ultimate outcome was that they cease to exist, what did they really achieve? It is not a sequel to Thimbleweed Park and is probably missing all of the small bells and whistles that would make it a commercially viable game.
