The 8th edition of Rio Gastronomia takes place from August 17th to the 19th and from August 23rd to the 26th at Píer Mauá, in Rio de Janeiro.

Bringing together some of the best national and international chefs, some of the most renowned restaurants, food trucks and bars in town, the event promises to outdo last year's numbers, where about 50,000 people attended the event.

In this edition, the concept “A La Carte Moments” proposes the experience of different dining moments such as love, travel, cuisine, food markets and street.

Designed for those willing to go on a gastronomic journey, Rio Gastronomia allows you to immerse yourself in the universe of good food in one place, offering pockets versions of the participating restaurants’ menus.

Andorinha is present with an exclusive olive oil store, displaying a range of information about the origin of its products, its olive grove, the production process, types of oils and other information that will help the participants to learn more about olive oil and the brand. On top of that, the store offers its entire product portfolio for tasting, promotions, gift kits and special activations with giveaways, samples, photos, and even personalized labels!

Thinking about consumer education and taking as much information as possible to the consumers, olive maker Marcelo Scofano will teach classes with a range of super interesting topics about the world of olive oils!

In the knowledge lounge, enthusiasts and professionals attend exclusive classes and lectures with chefs and renowned professionals. There are five knowledge lounges. At the Senac Seminar Room, where lectures and demonstrations take place, Andorinha and oil master Marcelo Scofano will provide an immersion in the world of oils, with the class: Olive Oils from A to Z.

Hours: Thursdays — single sessions, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Fridays — single sessions, from 5 p.m. to midnight.
Saturdays — lunch and dinner, from 12 p.m. to midnight.
Sundays — lunch and dinner, from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Age rating: Free. Children under 14 should be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians (subject to change by the Child, Youth and Elderly Court).
