Meanwhile, thank you for your ongoing support and patience, and we ask you to have a safe and enjoyable lead-up to the 40th anniversary of one of the world’s great historic motoring events. Only participants, their vehicle passengers, event staff and pre-approved media/authorised persons will be allowed on site at both the start at Barrett Reserve, West Beach and finish at the National Motor Museum, Birdwood. Our start and finish events will be modified and we will not be holding the alternative start at Civic Park in Modbury this year. This year, our finish event at the National Motor Museum will not include entertainment or catering. After a 10 week closure, we recently reopened the National Motor Museum, and in SA and in other parts of the country, many other public institutions, businesses and public places are reopening – but with many modifications and alterations to how business is being undertaken.
