The Portuguese olive oil Andorinha has more than 90 years of tradition, experience and credibility.

In 1927, in a village nestled in the city of Abrantes, Portugal, the Simãos launched the Andorinha brand. Created to supply international markets with a strong presence of Portuguese immigrants, it has made Brazil its main destination.

In 2004, the brand Andorinha was purchased by Sovena, the world’s largest olive oil group. Major innovations were then introduced in Brazil, such as the pioneering dispensing nozzle and the spray bottle, icons of innovation due to their practical design.

Sovena has two major distinguishing features that reflect the excellence of its products: having its own olive grove and a modern, highly qualified oil mill. This results in absolute control of production and higher product quality.

Andorinha olive oils are produced from the best varieties of olives, harvested at different ripening times, which ensures unique oil types and unparalleled flavors.

All of this results in the highest quality and tastiest olive oil. Because of its quality, versatility and packaging design, it is one of the Portuguese olive oils with the strongest presence in Brazil.

Our mission is to take olive oil to everyone and inspire people to eat healthier and tastier with olive oil.

Over the years and with hard work, Andorinha has not only gathered experience with producing quality olive oil in a sustainable way. It has also earned many awards contributing to its efforts to provide consumers with increasingly better products.
